Escort Passport 9500ix by far. It is expensive but the best. Mine is paid for since a long time.

I have the same. Super long range, quick alerts, just need to learn to deal with all the false alerts from automatic doors, speed signs, and now blind spot monitoring systems on other cars.

Only downside with this one is that while it has a stellar forward range, it sacrifices some lateral pickup. Hasn't burned me yet though.

I have mine since 6 years and I never experienced any lack of lateral coverage. It covers 360 degrees.

As for the false alerts, it is true but it doesn't bothers me. I prefer to be aware than sorry.

I have the Bel Pro GX65 which is extremely similar to the Passport 9500ix.
I like the GPS tracking of red light cameras, speed cameras, etc.
with update-able database as well as the excellent performance.
A lot of people swear by the Valentine model, too.

This review is a couple of years old, but The Wirecutter really liked the Valentine One. (more here)
