New Coupe

Hi everyone,

I started out shopping for a pre-owned or certified Mini Next Coupe. I found a great deal on a leftover 2013 Coupe but when I got home and called the dealer back, it had sold already. What's a guy gonna do? I decided to get another one on the lot!! LOL!!

This makes a '14 Coupe for me, a '12 Countryman All4 for the wife, and a '07 Cooper Hardtop for my daughter.

Pretty much a handful of options, not a loaded car but it's nice: Auto Trans, JCW exterior pkg, midnight black body and roof, piano black interior trim, heated seats, xenon headlights. I may add on somethings later like the diffuser from ECS. Also, I may tinker with some better sound as the car didn't come with HK audio. Love the wheels.

Looks great. +1 on the JCW GP 2 rear diffuser kit, looks great on the R58/ R59 MINIs with the JCW rear bumpers of course.

Great,

Its a popular combo front belly pan & rear diffuser when you have the rear JCW bumper, other then maybe doing the center section too ( underbody panel ), which are a little more involved. User "Bluetoy" did it with some help with parts from me on the R59 ( additional bracing ) with the R58 underbody panels, same thing on the R58 , you just have to cut around the rear bracing. For the R58 it should be a straight install.

To see if you have them already, some JCW body kits had them installed from the dealership , look under your R58 MINI and looks for the plastic long panels already there on each side. If not , you don't have them.

Thanks

With the star bullet rims and a silver roof it fits well .That's why I got those wheels, matches well and don't have to black anything out haha.

2012 Laguna Green S Coupe

First, here's a link to a video I made so I could see the car moving etc.
(www.Vimeo.com/62911804) to decide what subtle changes to make to the exterior (JCW Spoiler, Union Jacks & partial blacking out).
Not sure the photos reflecting the changes will show up large (new to posting), if not click on my gallery.

Very nice photos and options, first time I have seen the R128 Black twin spokes on the R58.

The GP2 diffuser kits look better and better on the R58 & R59.

The leather / alcantara dash matches well with the seats. Bravo.

Here is a couple threads for the R58/ R59 models. There is also the GP2 front belly pan kit and the Underbody panels on there. Some people do them all and some like just to do the GP2 rear diffuser.

GP2 Rear diffuser Thread and install:
