2013 JCW Coupe now on MINI website plus some build questions
They finally updated the 2013 JCW configurator on MINIUSA!
It looks like the added the Leather Punch: carbon black (which I like!) along with some other goodies.
Now I have to go OCD on all the interior choices!
Here is the build I'm going with at the moment...
WhiteSilver/Blk roof and black sport stripes
blk out xenons with white turn signals
dash surface in MINI Yours Soda----would really like to see this in person or a better picture than what the configurator shows--does anyone here have a picture of this?
satellite gray color line
sport suspension
black challenge spoke
rear fog
H/K
auto climate control --but I might go with the standard
JCW sport wheel leather
JCW shift ****
and finally I'm still on the fence about Leather Punch: carbon black vs. leatherette, MINI connected and/or NAV
At any rate any thoughts or comments on my build would be greatly appreciated!
In other news it looks like the new engine with slightly increase horsepower (to 211) and better gas mileage won't show up till January or so...my MA is trying to check on that.

I've been eagerly awaiting the '13 congigurator too.
The added horses is because they are using the N18 variant engine in the '13s. Slightly better MPGs too. Win-win.
As far as your build, I can't see putting leatherette in a $35k, or more, JCW. Go to the dealership and take a look at the seat options. I'm on the fence about spending $2k on championship lounge leather. For being cloth, the checkered sport seats are pretty upscale and comfy.

Thanks CR&PW&JB!
I like your logic on the seats. One of my friends was already harassing me on the decision to get a leather JCW steering wheel and get leatherette seats. Which I've been trying to put together in my mind and it is an odd combo. I've heard a lot of good things about the leatherette being durable and holding its form longer and I was just trying to show a tiny bit of restraint.
So now... I'm thinking with taking price tag into account/the JCW leather steering wheel pairing/and lumbar support benefits (along with the feel of the leather)... leather seats it is!
I like the lounge leather, but I prefer the euro version of the lounge with the columns extending over the bottom area where we have just a flat section due to some safety regulation. I wish they offered the gravity leather in black that would be my favorite!
At any rate, I'm happy they put the punch carbon black option. That's what I'm leaning toward at the moment.

I've seen the punched carbon leather recently at my local dealership. Almost as nice looking as lounge leather, every bit as comfy, and easier on the wallet. Solid choice.
And I understand the need for constraint. If I couldn't show some of it myself, my JCW Coupe build would be well over $40k.

Thanks for the photo Raska! I really like that leather dash.
I already ordered my new JCW Coupe and had to think hard about what I could leave off so the price didn't get too out of hand.
Here is what I went with apart from the standard JCW fare:
DESIGN
White Silver Body Color
Dash Surface in Piano Black
Satellite Gray Color Line
Black Headlamp Housings
Black Sport Stripes
White Turn Signals
Black Roof/Mirrors
Leather: Punch Carbon Black
PERFORMANCE
Sport Suspension
Rear Fog Lamp
Xenon Headlamps
17" Challenge Spoke Black
INSTRUMENTS
Automatic Climate Control
Alarm System
Harman/Kardon Sound System
MINI MOTORING ACCESSORIES**
4 Wheel Locks
JCW Shift ****
JCW Sport Wheel, Leather
Can't wait to drive it!!
