Bought it new in 4/14 at Mini N. Scottsdale and it was a great Mini, a cut above my 2007 MCS especially the looks. Traded it in for a 2020 JCW Clubman All4 at Mini of Tempe almost 3 weeks ago. Why? It was 6 yrs old which is my usual car trade time, and I was Jonesing for the new JCW model with the 300 HP, bigger brakes, new 8 speed tranny, new suspension, and adjustable dampers (the SS in the Coupe rode a tad rough at times), and a bit more room. And it cost me exactly the same as the Coupe ($40k). I only got $11k for it, but it's too much trouble to try and sell a car especially now. Did the whole deal over the phone/ email too. I just went down and wrote a check and drove 'er home. This is a very different driving Mini that's for sure. Not in a bad way just bigger and heavier. The tranny is awesome and it's probably faster off the line with no wheelspin. Anyway there aren't many Coupe owners left, and I'm not one of them anymore. (BTW there are 2 other JCW Coupes the same color as mine was in Prescott, or at least there were at one time). No question the Coupe was the best looking Mini of all time. I think my next one's gonna be a 2003 R53 with a MT that I can just thrash the crap out of. With a lot of those black and white checkers mods all over it. I never drove a Gen1 Mini.

I just bought a r58 coupe jcw from carvana. I think they said it was in tempe when I ordered it. Doesnt have the black headlights but the same exact color! I do like the newer minis but wanted the smaller version lol

When I traded in the Coupe at Tempe Mini in late April I had replaced the chrome front headlight surround trim with black trim and the black stripes on the roof had been removed. My Xenon headlights were the blacked out ones from the factory. I also had replaced the 2 factory side scuttles with ones that were Union Jacks, red and white as I recall. It also had the factory Recaro seats, a rare option ($2600) on that car.

Dang that's awesome! Mine is same colors but no roof stripes but no recaro seats. Would love those seats though
