R58 S front park lights

I just purchased a 2012 S coupe. I noticed there is no amber lamps lit inside the headlamps with just the parklamp switch on. The amber turn lamps work fine. I did remove the bulbs and discovered there is only one filament inside. My question is are there supposed to be an amber lamp inside the headlamp with just the park lamp switch on? Car does have the factory xenon headlamps. Thanks

Inside the headlight is just the turn signal. The parking light is the upper part in the fog light housing.

You can code the car to have the turn signal illuminated for DRL use. I have this activated in my car, along with the main fog light. In this mode, the turn signal is also illuminated with the parking lights.

Thank you very much!
