Hood Surround Chrome Trim Fasteners......

Where can I find the fastener that hold the bottom of the top chrome trim on the hood? It seems to be some kind of plastic T shaped that broke.

Yesterday, I removed the chrome trim and found that five tabs holding the fasteners were broken. I have no explanation why they broke but I can attest the engineering of this part is very poor. The plastic compound is very brittle and the tab holders are coming apart in many pieces. The back of the trim is hollow so new tab holders can be built up from scratch. Some creativity with plastic bits, JB Weld and double sided tape fixed the problem.

Agreed. I recently replaced this piece on my car. Thought about applying some epoxy to the plastic tabs to build up some strength where they meet the main piece but was too lazy to do it.
