Been looking for a set of seat belt holders for our coupe.
Just want to bring the belts out where one can reach them without performing an contortionist act.


Have seen a pair on amazon but the reviews were not kind.


Anyone know of a pair that will hold up fairly well?

 

I got the standard MINI set, and they work fine for me. Others have reported that they come apart too easily, but mine only come apart if I flip the seatback forward without removing the seat belt from the holder first. So I don't do that.

Looks like the Mini Cooper set is the only game in town and it is a real pain to reach the belts otherwise so the Mini Cooper set it is.

 

Why don't you try using one of these? I have a set and I never have a problem getting my seat belt.



It's a seat belt cushion cover.

 

Also - I've read here that others who had the holders come apart too easily glued them together to solve that problem. So you have that option if it's necessary.

 

this may be of use to you. basically get a seat belt holder for a different car model and then drill some holes and voila! seatbelt with in reach. i did this a year ago or so and it is one of those mods you enjoy each day you reach for your seat belt.. sure not as fun as the 3" DP exhaust upgrades but...

where did you get these? Are they leather?
