R58 LORDVDR: The ALL4 R58 Project
Looks awesome. Hmmm...I might do a matte black wrap. So many possibilities. Still debating on the JCW wing. (That purchase wouldn't happen for at least another year.)
Ditto. That looks sweet spiney! I'd love to have a rear wing like yesterday but my mod fund is getting a bit anorexic. I still have to redo all my stripes, plus I need to wrap the handles and belt line so I may try something on the spoiler as well.

The belt line you can get some belt line masking tape from Outmotoring.com
Really.. where I will definitely come.... can you post details.
DM me your phone number. We have a WhatsApp conversation that we communicate through. If you don't have WhatsApp...I highly recommend d/ling it. Great little app.
Drove by your job on Saturday! I was racing bikes in central park and on my way home I stopped at the light right in front on my way to the tunnel. I honestly noticed the parking lot fencing from one of your pictures on the corner before I noticed it was a Mini dealer haha. Was only 8am so they weren't open to see if you were there.

BTW I started a MINI car club for the greater NYC area. We have about 20 members so far. If you have WhatsApp we have an ongoing conversation happening. If you want private message me your phone number and I'll add you. Lots of really great people and LOTS of MINI talk happening.
TyrolSport in Queens. I have a MINI car club here in the NYC area. Private Message me your phone number and I'll add you to our group. We have a WhatsApp group. I'll private message you the link for that.
Yup. I am a MINIon. Fun fact, I started the group a couple of months ago. We have close to 40 members now. Every meet we have about 10-15 people show up. Each time more and more people show up. It's kind of awesome. Are you in the NYC area? If so, you're more than welcome to join.
I was thinking about blue headlight covers on mine. Since it is Lightning Blue, I should even go faster LOL.
Thanks man. The original badges I had on the car were from GoBadges.com. They are awesome. You can do custom badges. I currently took all the badges off for a classic Murdered look. I recently moved down to Charlotte, NC for a new job. I definitely will be doing more stuff to lil Vader.

Was thinking about some water/meth injection in the future...among others. I've been told Howerton is the way to go. Any thoughts?
The R58 must feel like a country MINI stretching its legs.
Have you hit any back country roads yet?
On the meth kit lots of people like the AEM kit 30-3000, Snow performance. And those other guys also are the most popular. HT looks to be more focused on MINI and testing, also looks like they made things more specific to MINI.
Good luck on whatever you choose.

1. Howerton Engineering Aquamist HSF-4 kit.
2. Howerton Engineering Aquamist HSF-3 kit.
3. Snow Performance Boost Cooler 2 w/gauge.
4. AEM
If someone were to ask me to rate them, I'd give them a 9.9, 9.2, 7.5 and 6.5 respectively. The only reason the Aquamist HSF-4 doesn't get a 10 is I'd like to see a PC software interface for greater control of the scaling.
The Snow and AEM will get the job done, just not as accurately. Both require you to purchase a separate failsafe which is standard on the Aquamist. Neither has a test function so that you can verify exactly how much the system is injecting. Both also vary flow by pump pressure whereas the Aquamist controls flow via FAV duty cycle. This is the same style control system used with fuel injectors.
This last part I hate to say as AEM makes some great products, but the AEM flow "sensor" which is integral to its failsafe system is junk. Rather than being a solid state unit it uses a friggin pin wheel that spins as the meth flows past it. Come on AEM fix that crap. If someone's going to spend the extra money on a failsafe system for the peace of mind that their engine won't go BOOM, how about including a reliable flow sensor made using technology from this century.
Wooooh, maybe I need to consider switching to decaf.
