It's been well established that the rarest color for the R58 is Laguna Green. If anyone owns an R58 in Laguna Green aka "The Green Buffalo", please post some images here. It's one of my favorite colors on the MINI Cooper Coupe.

 

You will find some for sale on the web and the pictures are pretty good. A few don't even have stripes. Not my cup of tea about the color but unique.

Spice Orange with Black top combo in Factory JCW Coupe package should also be very rare.


May be we should call it a Dragon if you can find one LOL.

 

That would be super rare! No way in hell I'd want to drive a Halloween themed car all year long. Oh wait...I so of already do with my Darth Vader inspired R58. lol

Laguna Green
Spice Orange is up there.
Ice Blue ( i dont think they even made one in the R58 )
High class gray ( maybe seen a couple of these )
Kite Blue
Original MINI Coupe Concept color ( 1 of 1 )




How about that interior

 

I have seen a Spice Orange/Black top combo on a Mini Coupe about 3 years ago but it was an S and I was looking only for a JCW. I passed.

 

Totally forgot about the Concept car in Kite Blue. Technically that would the rarest color. That interior was amazing. Great color combo.

 

I don't blame you. Orange and Black takes a certain personality to pull off. Only time will tell and decide what color will actually be valuable. As we know the R58 will be a future classic. Just need to wait till 2038 now. lol

I am SO JEALOUS of Spice Orange... ended up with Chili Red, but only because the Spice Orange on the lot got sold the day before I got there!

 

Quite frankly, I like my Lightning Blue......... because it is a JCW and it is rare. I would have never buy a Mini Coupe in any color with only the S trim.

I don't believe the Coupe will ever be collectible in the future unless you own a stock Factory JCW with no mods.

I've got one customer with and R56 Laguna Green, but never seen an R58

I get pumped when I see another R58 on the road. I'll pull up, beep, and wave. They look at me like I'm a lunatic.

 

The Kite Blue and the Spice Orange are wicked but I have a Pepper White and Silver with the Chrome package. I've looked all over the web and haven't been able to see the same combo... has anyone else seen this combo?? Thanx...

 

Wow...that is literally one of the most incredible R58 vehicles I've ever seen. Bravo my friend. Bravo. Only one I've seen. Amazing.

For the chrome package i have seen it on the Coupe ( non s ). Pepper white with silver, not to many. Most do black for contrast.

Man...if I had stupid money I'd buy another r58 and make the whole car white. White top/body/wheel trim/window tint rims/tires/interior. Everything would be white.

Of course...if I had an insane amount of money to **** away. lol

 

I have to agree that Black makes more contrast but White w/ Black are a dime a dozen. I've yet to see a R58 JCW in Pepper White with Silver w/ the Chrome Package. I like that it makes it unique and I've yet to see another one like it anywhere.... Love to see another.

 

Yeah...it's pretty rare indeed.

 

While white is pretty common on a Coupe, most have red or black tops with the red or black stripes and wheels.

Yours is even more interesting because it seems to be a factory JCW with silver wheels and the stripes are subdued.

Nice to see another Coupe that has not received a blackout treatment.
