Hello Experts,

Does the Mini "wings" badge on the rear (boot) have pegs which fit into holes on the body panel? I want to remove this as I've done with the COOPER letters but I've been told there are holes where the back of the badge inserts.

I knew the badge for the hood & lift-gate on regular coopers had the pegs/body holes, however since the one on the rear of the Coupe is so small I was hoping it was just an adhesive backing like the COOPER letters.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

The one on the back door of my clubman was just adhesive .

 

Yep, from what I understand (and I am not an expert by any means...), the entire R56 series has 2 guide holes for the front and rear wing emblems.

I had the holes spot welded closed (and prepped) and the whole hatch re-shot after I removed mine.

Don't miss that little booger one iota!

 

(I forgot to add...) But not sure about the R58 series... Sau-wee.
