Hello. I currently own a red & black mini coupè. I got it last week after having 3 years of a regular Mini Cooper. One question I had that the dealer claims it doesn't come standard with nor is it capable of having is auto up windows. So because the dealer pretty much sounds kind of stupid by saying that a car in which the windows go auto down is incapable of going auto up. Does anyone know how to make my windows go up with just hitting the button upward once? That's all.

The regular hardtop has auto up, but not the convertible (or the coupé or roadster that are derived from it) because the windows don't have pinch sensors.

There might possibly be an option to enable it in NCS Expert programming.

 

That sounds like a lot of work lol I guess I'm stuck with holding the button lol

 

hmm, i am thinking you probably would need to code your Coupe w/the feature if its possible. I paid a guy to code my coupe with the ability to Rollup my windows w/the Keyfob by hitting lock and then holding lock a second time. i'll check the spreadsheet of options to see if its one you can modify.

btw, i also got the VIM coding done too so i can watch movies/music videos on my mini connected screen while i'm a moving

actually it does look like you can code that in:

Enable one-touch windows on R56 models (driver)
Enables one touch up and down of windows instead of holding to open or close. Change from nicht_aktiv to aktiv. FRM3 FH_MAUT_ZU_FAT_ENABLE

Enable one-touch windows on R56 modes (Co-driver)
Same as above, but for co-driver's window. (nicht_aktiv to aktiv). FRM3 FH_MAUT_ZU_BFT_ENABLE

where are you located? i had my coupe done in addition to the auto up windows via the toggle, it works on the key fob, i had the video in motion too, turned on my rear fogs, and euro lights...less than 60 bucks....
