A few weeks ago my spoiler threw an error message saying something like "spoiler not fully extended; see your dealer". I turned the car off and on again, cycled the spoiler up and down manually, and the message went away.
It came back again a week or so later so I had them look at it. They replaced the whole spoiler unit due to a fault of some kind, not real clear on what it was within the unit. It took a few days for the new one to arrive, and then he called me and said it was primer and they'd have to paint it.......I asked them to take the old one off the defective unit so that's what they did.....all OK now
Free 2013 328i loaner for a week and a half; this being LA, the new Bimmer got zero attention lol.....
