Seen a few solutions that listed support for the R58, but I am wondering if anyone has actually installed a hitch to a coupe or roadster?

I'm wanting to pull a small trailer for autocross materials (one plus to the hardtop...).

Had a local guy recently install a hitch on my SUV and he told me the only vehicle he ever had an unsuccessful attempt to install a hitch onto was a BMW Z3. And he said he's installed over 2,000 hitches on everything from Vettes to Beetles to Hummers.

Find your local hitch expert and test his prowess.

 

MiniDoMore hitch for the R56 will bolt right up. The exit tube however lines up with the bumper cover and not the black honeycomb so you need to cut a square hole in the cover, but they will supply a blank to cover it up as well...

Didn't install it on mine yet, but can pack 2 tires in the boot and 2 tires on the passenger seat for local events, and I put it on a trailer for weekend events as i usually bring lots more stuff like chairs, ezup, beer, water, beer....

 

Can you post a picture of the trunk with the tires? No pressure, but depending on how much space this will decide if I go r-comp now or with the next set...
