I recently put some Motegi SP10 Wheels on my Coupe. I used the sensors from my 2009 MCS but the TPMS sensor will not reset. It acts as though it is resetting but the warning light on the dash never goes out.

Discount Tire checked the sensors and they are all transmitting like they are designed to. Did he sensors change from 2009 to 2012? These sensors were in a difference set of wheels for my 2009 MCS and they worked fine. The wheels wouldn't fit this car thus the change to Motegi.

Does anyone have a definitive answer if the sensors are the same for 2009 MCS to this 2012 Coupe?

 

Yes. In 2010 the sensors were changed, so you need 2010 or newer for your car. I found this out the hard way.....

 

Thanks for the reply. Discount tire shows fitment for 2011 so I am assuming those will work? They didn't change in 2012 did they? I would hate to order 2011 sensors and then not have them work in my 2012 Coupe.
