Other pics I've seen appear more satin but that may just be glare from the particular pics I've seen. I have no personal preference (gloss, satin, matte) as long as the wheels are black as coal!
It is a flat finish. I prefer it as it shows the brake dust even less than the gloss finished wheels.

Yes I agree. Now that I think about it you are right. I think that is where I notice it. These wheels have more clearance between the caliper and the spoke than the stock wheel does. The stock wheel is REALLY close to the spoke.

Thanks John for telling me about this wheel. Works like a charm.

Thanks Pat,

No I had not seen it, but I was warned by the dealer not to pull on them for just that reason. I guess a customer grabbed hold and pulled thinking it was the the seat release and ripped it right off. I am really sure not sure how the think the top ripped it, I believe it is more complecated then that. Sorry for the side track this is for a different thread but thanks for the info.

BTW Pat thanks for the sensonr info I almost picked up a set of 2010s.

Anyone else done aftermarket wheels on their Coupe yet? I'm going to go with the Breyton GTS-R Minis. They're very similar to the Challenge Spoke (that I couldn't get with my car) but they're lighter. I'll be sure to post pictures once they're mounted.

Here's a quick photoshop of the current look then the new:

Wheels are 17x7. Tires are the stock run flats 205/45/17. I'm going to keep the run flats until they're dead then upgrade to a better non-run flat. Can't wait.

I guess Breyton realized they were missing out and decided to start making 17x7 rims for MINI. When I started this thread they only came in 18". Very nice!

Thanks. What's cool about the GTS-R design is it actually looks bigger, i.e., the seventeen looks more like an eighteen on there. Good stuff
