Exactly the type of stripe "upgrade" I was discussing with my tint & graphics guy yesterday as he tinted my windows. I approve!!!

Fantastic! I bet they'd look great on an MCS too. I'll have to bookmark this page for when mine gets here.

I think they look great! The racing striped they put on the coupe are a little to "whimpy", not beefy enough. These REALLY work!

Looks great...I am doing the same to my JCW Hatch. Taking the stripes from the front spoiler to the rear apron looks the best by far IMO

@MICHIML - You sold me on those stripes! They're going on my new MCS that's supposed to arrive this week. Did you buy a package or did you get them from a vinyl place?

@chaswyck - I did the designing, and sent it to a local vehicle wrap / graphics company, who made them up and did the install.

Very nice work. Hope you don't mind my stealing your design. If you don't mind my asking, what are the widths of the stripes and the gaps between them?

@ chaswyck and @johnf36 - I did this: .25" chaser stripe, .25" gap, 7" stripe, .25" gap, and another .25" chaser. There is a three inch space between. On my R52, this was perfect, but on the R58, I had wanted the main stripe 6", but the designer didn't follow my direction and went 7. At this configuration, the outside chasers will hit the windshield washer jets, which I wanted to avoid. The installer did a nice job working around them, so ultimately it didn't matter. You might consider a slightly more narrow main stripe.
