Do you plan on driving this in winter? I really want one, but wonder about the snow clearance. My MINI scrapes all the ruts as it is!

...Well then I suppose so does Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes, Corvette, and so on and so on! I'd ask you what your point is but we already know.

 

I experienced my first real "turns heads" moment today! Took the Coupe to get the windows tinted. I was in the waiting room and I could hear them pull it into the garage. There were 3-4 guys in there working on cars and they were all going crazy. "OH MY GOD WHAT IS THAT" and "HOLY CRAP THAT IS AWESOME." I heard the chimes as they had the doors open with the key inside. Then they started arguing over who got to work on it. I was giggling pretty hard.

 

You say that like it's a bad thing. Just remember: The Miata set *the* standard for lightweight roadsters in the '90s and is still a benchmark. It spawned all sorts of other roadsters out there.

 

This is the kind of story most MINI owners can identify with, I am on my second MINI and have been driving my cars everyday for almost ten years now and hardly a week goes by that someone doesn't go out of their way to ask or comment on the car!
