There have been several threads on the replacement passenger side cowl covers not fitting, but I can't find the threads. Has anyone found a solution? I notice that the seller on Amazon says the replacements only work on the 2015 R57s, not earlier. I purchased mine from ECS and spoke with them twice. They tell me it will fit, but neither I nor the local convertible shop can get it to lie flat. I'm getting desperate for a solution. Any ideas?
I can help you, sometimes they are tricky with a window that been replaced. Most of the time their is more info on the forums that i post. The CS team are not MINI owners, sorry about that
Its the lip that hang on the seal at the bottom of the glass thats hard to catch. Let me know what kit you bought, should be labeled R57. The cowls for the R57 fit all those production years for the r57. Most of those amazon reseller dont really know fitment or MINIs.
