So our Mini R57 roof is working but you have to hold open the drivers side hook to get the roof to close, although it does not pull up tight.. any ideas pls
I can pull the hook into the position but the mechanism is not locking it

So and update thought i would share as this fixed the problem for me. I remove the Motor and the pushed the roof back so it was left on both sides (sunroof), the refixed the motor and shut the sunroof then opened it and kept finger on button for 15 seconds then on the next push the rood opened locked in position and then came back up and locked all fine. so seems as the roof was slightly out of alignment this was confusing the the system, i took the opportunity to grease up the sliders too So happy
