Getting Rear Fog Lights to work

I have a 2013 R57 and was thinking of how I can get the rear fog lights to work. Wouldn’t I be able to simply tap into the ground and power wire of the brake light and connect it to the rear fogs??

you can make them work as brake lights

but not as fog lights ....
