Finally found myself a convertible! 2012 base manual with 34,000 miles.
I have 303 and a light in site on order. Is there anything I should do to preserve the seals/gaskets between the convertible cover and the vehicle?

 

I rub a small amount of silicone grease onto the rubber. Don't use Vaseline or a petroleum based lube, it is a degrader of rubber.

 

that 303 would be fine too ... it helps keep the rubber from drying out . . .

 

I used some of the protectant to buy some time. But after a while my R52 trims started to crack, they lasted about 4 years then started to crack again. The R57 sets are not near the price of my r52 ones. We have them in sets below. Do the top fabric and the seal about twice a year helps. My top still looks great with 250K
