Keep ripping trim off

I have an 09 Cooper S convertible with the aftermarket JCW package. On any less than perfect driveway I scrape the front trim pulling in or out. Now after the 4th time of pulling it off I am looking for a longer term solution. I did get a price to "unlower" the car but when I asked about softening the ride I really didn't get an answer. I was also wondering if there was a different trim that could be used that didn't hang so low. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks for your help.

My old Gen1 Checkmate was also very low in the front.

I just got in the habit of hitting driveways and speed bumps at an angle, so one wheel made initial contact at a time.

The only time I scraped was when I didn't or couldn't do this for some reason.

+1
After a big concert at the county fair grounds and a bit of rain a whole bunch of good ol' boys drove out square on to the bar ditch and buried their front wheels every time and had to be towed out. Lots of them were 4WD too. Diagonal works every time.

I believe that you are referring to the correct parts.

Thanks
