aggressive vibration at stop light

looking for ideas.
new to the mini world just picked up an 09 mini cooper s convertable

While replacing the water pump, noticed the motor mount was cracked( replaced), after driving for about a week i noticed an AGGRESSIVE vibration, only in drive stopped, the harder I push the brake the worse it gets, all other positions purr like a kitten. today I changed the lower torque arm( lower motor mount), no issues for two test drives then picking up kids vibration came back.

again only when stopped in drive when brake applied wheels straight, turning the wheel makes it go away.

has anyone run into this before?

Actually kind of interesting, Just had to tighten the nut. ( but I had already replaced the motor mount and added the spacers for the torque arm.) only took 2 mins and a universal.

Should note though if the dealer tells you its loose might be a good idea to ask how loose before you leave, as there was only at most a 16th sticking up above the nut when I got home and about an inch after I tightened it

It does not take much, glad you fixed the issue. Most bolts the last couple turn it what holds things in torque.
