R57, Alarm Retrofit and location of Ultrasonic Module

I have searched high and low, and cannot find the answer...

I have ordered and am going to attempt the retrofit of the alarm into my 2010 Cooper S Convertible. From all the docs that I have been able to locate, they all refer to the R56. That's fine for MOST things, but I can't seem to figure out where the ultrasonic sensor module is going to go.

I assumed it was behind the overhead dome light where the switches are for lowering the top. But I popped it off today, and there is no "space" for a ultrasonic module to be place there.

So where does it go or is it located?

According to the Bentley manual, it does not include an ultrasonic module, it includes two interior motion sensors in each door behind the door trim panel. The retrofit kit for the hardtop / clubman and the convertible are not the same.

I was going to say the same thing as avuton. Looking at the alarm part page, there is no USM listed.

Okay, so it LOOKS like I need the "65-73-2-157-425" retrofit kit, maybe?

Does anyone know how I can get the "Mini Installation Instructions" for a R57 Alarm Retrofit? (65-73-2-157-425)

Your local MINI dealership should print it out for you, call before you go.
