R57 Air Splitter for 2011 Model S?
Air Splitter for 2011 Model S?
Hey everyone,
I've got an '11 R57s (www.facebook.com/checkerthemini) and am considering installing the following air splitter from Mini Mania: http://bit.ly/zJ4kH7.
My concern is how/where the stabilizer struts will connect to the lower chin spoiler. The single photo on Mini Mania is on an R52/53. The '11's front spoiler is MUCH different with a lot less room to attached a stabilizer strut.
Has anyone installed this product on a R55/56/57 model S?
Thanks.
Michael

Not wanting to be a spoilsport, but I do not like it. I don't like the look and I don't think it will do anything significant for you other than making your wallet lighter.
But, each to their own.

Did you look at the M7 site for their Splitter? I don't personally have their Splitter but I would look there first. I have had very good results with Peter and his M7 products.
Look here: http://www.m7tuning.com/parts/produc...roducts_id=105
I usually try to avoid dealing with MiniMania.
BTW, I like the look and design of the M7 Splitter better than the MiniMania item.
Good Luck.
