How long do these cars take to order and some other questions?

New to the forum. Wife wants a Spice Orange S. So, I get to customize. Sports Package, Premium package and Bluetooth w/usb.

Does anyone have the sports suspension and should I add it? I was surprised it was not included in the sports package.

Any ideas on the wait time?

Typically 6-8 weeks depending on coast and if your dealer has a slot open.

This question gets asked a lot. I test drove with sports susp and I liked for street use with 17" alloys/tires. For me in Canada, it was only a $250 option on my JCW so it was hard to resist. If you are planning on upgrading the susp, don't bother with the factory upgrade.

This is what is included...

Sport Suspension (226):
4 Springs
Larger Front Sway Bar
Larger Rear Sway Bar

Thanks for the replies. I am not planning to do any suspension upgrades since it is wife's car. I am wondering if I can sneak it in without her asking about it!

The sports packages does have the 17" which I like. I wonder how much harsher the ride is on suspension and the 17s. I will always take the trade off (I have 19s on a C Class).

6-8 weeks will feel like forever for someone like me!

Biggest problem is the harshness of the runflat tires. I suspect sports suspension with non runflat tires (when the OEM tires wear out...) would be the best compromise for me.
