I know for a fact that you can enable auto-up of the passenger's side window on the hatchback with NCSExpert. I have done so myself...

I am not sure of that is what you would like to do, but given the modules are the same across all the MINIs the options must be similar. So I am pretty sure you can code auto-up windows...

 

Since it is going in ot the dealer this week, I hope there is a chance to have it looked at and fixed.....otherwise, I guess i will have to suffer with holding the switch, or finding a way to program this without negatively affecting warranty.

 

There is a auto up-auto down feature with the windows and top but it only works a certain way and I think it only works if you are out of the car.
If top and windows are up stand outside of your car and push and hold the unlock button. All windows and the top will open with the top opening to just the sunroof part only. If you push and hold it again all the windows and top will open all the way.
If the top and windows are down you do the same but push and hold the lock button and it will close all windows and close

On Butters (2005 Cabrio)
With the key; Push unlock release, push unlock & hold...windows go down & sunroof open.
Unlock & hold again puts the top down.
Unlock & hold one more time puts the windows up but keeps the top down.

My windows won't auto-up from the switches in the cabin. Even with the (all windows) button. Always have to press & hold.

 

Any updates from anyone who has asked their dealer about it?

 

I had the dealer check all records and programming on the pre-LCI convertible.

They said there is no pinch protection, so it is not available
