R57 Convertible Top Noise (Up or Down)

Convertible Top Noise (Up or Down)
So, Mini dealers received two technical service updates to two problems.
  • Noise from Close Convertible Top
  • Noise from Open Convertible Top
I'd thought I'd post both service updates here, just incase R57 owners start to exhibit these two problems. I think I saw only one posting so far of noises with the Open Convertible Top.

Attachment is in Word 97 format, as Word 2007 .DOCX is not yet supported on NAM.

If one wants to DIY fix how can it be done?
