The MINI parts catalog shows two types of covers available for the R57. An indoor and outdoor., however the picture they use is very misleading,

I'm bring back this old thread as I got to see the car covers today in person. My dealership order a few for their customer vehicles they are delivering this week.
I have to saw the indoor one looks awesome. It's designed to cover the entire Convertible while topless, but you do need to remove the antenna. It feels like a combination of cotton, spandex, and felt. The one they had in the showroom had the Mini logo on the driver side along with the sentence "The New Mini Convertible - Always Open". They had an ourdoor one there as well, but it wasn't open so I couldn't see if it also sported the same log and sentence on the driver side.
I think the MSRP for the indoor and outdoor were around $180 or $190, but I'm sure the dealers can give a discount on them.
I might have to go pick up one in the coming weeks. Gotta keep the Mini covered in the garage when we go on vacation in the larger SUV.
