No, the R56s (ie hardtops) don't. Just a choice of several silver finishes or piano black on the dash with the door ellipses to match, or woodgrain dash with piano black door elipses. At least, that's all that was on offer to me (in Australia - I think we get Euro spec).

What's pictured on the new cabrio is what's sold in the US as the "color line" interior, I believe... Not sure about other markets.

Interesting! In Australia (and therefore Europe???) Colour Line refers to the colour of the roll along the bottom of the dashboard and the armrests. 6 colours available and only one of them matches anything else!

I'm wrong - you're right - Hmmm.... I've seen other R56's with body color dash... maybe that was done aftermarket....

I really like the Horizon Blue color an awful lot. Very classy color.

Maybe so. If I was buying a MINI now, that would be a good option. I like the ellipse to contrast with the trim (otherwise, why have it?!). I wasn't so keen on the various silver tonings, which meant having a black ellipse and that worked OK as my MINI has a light grey interior but they don't offer that any more either!

New R57 Pics from UK configurator.

Horizon Blue

Midnight Black

Interchange Yellow

The body color interior trim option has returned. Also a denim blue and hot chocolate top. Lets hope these will apply to the US spec R57's as well.

Hot Chocolate is no longer an R55 exclusive color!

probably about 6 months before the Canadian site. mini.ca is really slow to update their website.

You know, that is exactly how I feel. R56 - not my cup of tea, but I love what the changes have done for the R57 and the Clubman. Weird things, our aesthetic eyes.
