No one's stopping you from getting back on topic. Don't know why some friendly banter would discourage you. This is supposed to be a community, not a scientific journal.

Here is what I have to add to the list:
- the key fob. Looks cool and unconventional. And I don't have to be afraid that it pokes through a pocket.
- the mood lighting. It sure adds to the cool factor of a MINI
- three nice cup holders!

Am I the only one that thinks the key plugs in "backwards"?

1. I've already caught a few people ogling it, and a neighbor who hasn't said a word to us came by yesterday as I was detailing to introduce himself and chat about the car.
2. The white wheels (that are a joy to clean, because they look so damn good when I'm done).
3. The aggressive front end and that sexy honeycomb grille.
4. The turn signals.
5. It does exactly what I tell it to do; moves through traffic effortlessly.
6. The sunroof.
7. The mood lighting.
8. The desire it instills in me to keep it looking pristine, and how it has me looking forward to driving to work.

Still getting to know my MINI, but one thing I'd add to the list:
  • The engine's "growl"

(I know R53 fans lament the loss of the burble, but I've never had an R53. I'm comparing with my previous car, a 6-cyl Audi A4. It didn't have a burble or a growl.)

Okay, my five:

1. Power, raw power
2. Torque (except when I don't want the torque steer!)
3. Quiet sunroof
4. OBC gives great info right in front, along with a digital speedo (I never use the big one). After driving a '94 BMW, this is all new to me.
5. It's red--always wanted a red car. This one's red, REALLY red.

Skuzzy, I think the local fuzz and DPS should be warned about your imbalance--you need to be monitored closely right now!

Poor Skuzzy... :impatient

Still dunt(tm) know what boat my baby is on. ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!
