Has anyone applied yet for the $1,000.00?

I have ordered a car, but I will have to wait until end of July to apply my rebate.

From the looks of the site, all you need is a bill of sale and copy of registration.

3.7% discount of the price of my car... horray!!!

 

I'm waiting to see if the MCS 2007 Auto is open for the rebate - my conversions say yes , the picture on the government website says it should, but alas, I wait for a slow moving government :impatient.

If you hear anything on the S let me know.

 

Were did you see the automatic on their web page?

I only saw the cooper (not S) in a 6 speed (not automatic).

 

The picture looks like that of a MCS (200X).

Using information from UK and US, converting to km / L equivalent - the MCS Auto (and manual) should apply. Will have to wait till I have my VIN before I can send in a request for rebate...

 

Sadly, this rebate is the only item worthwhile in the entire budget - pains me to be paying higher income taxes under the "new" Tory Government than I would have under the Liberal's... I hope the rebate works for the MCS Auto.

 

when I get my MCS end of this month. I am going to try it anyways. Who knows until you try!!!
