This just in... schedule on the Port Hueneme website shows the Maersky coming in late on the 24th. I have no idea when the posting was made or if it's current, but hey, there ya go.
I'm looking for live webcam somewhere out there. Let you know what I find.
per this arcticle:http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho....php?p=2097319
our cars would be priority one deposit but not paid for, and these cars go throught the VDC first. On that thread you can see cars clearing at great speeds.
Also notice it says they can clear around 400 cars a day.

It's on the left hand side under "Business at the Port." Hold your cursor and options will come up. It's the first at the top. This is total conjecture, but I don't notice any ships that came in this week from BMW. "Could that mean a cleared up VDC?" said the man and his wishful thinking.
No luck in finding a webcam. In fact some cruise ship websites that list ports labeled Port Hueneme as webcam less.
Hey, hey, quiet about that. I was born in Port Hueneme and that has been my lifelong trivia question.
I give people the choice. I can pronounce the city where I was born and I'll bet you can't spell it. Or I'll spell it for you and I'll bet you can't pronounce it. Never found a winner.

I believe it! That's a real whopper. It must have been annoying having to correct people all the time.
All us navy squids know the correct saying. we have a sea-bee base up there.
The hospital there was where I was born. The same place they took the bodies after that Alaska Airlines jet crashed a few years ago coming back from Mexico.
Last I checked it was just off the coast of San Diego, and that was at about 11:00 AM Mountain Time. I'm sure it's safely in port now and in the unloading process. It sets sail again tomorrow headed up to Oregon or Washington or something.
I cant seem to remember if WW would cross out the arrival that day and then the departure later or both together? as of now I dont know where we are
WW doesn't change the schedule from black to red (for arrival and departure) until after the ship departs for it's next destination. You can however, enter your VIN into the cargo tracking feature on WW to find out if your MINI has been unloaded. That info could appear on the website before we see the schedule change from black to red. I checked this morning with my VIN and didn't see any changes yet.
When one of us sees "discharged" on WW under our VIN, we'll know the process has begun!
How beauuuuuuuuutiful! Discharged at 13:04 as well. They must have turned the ship on its side and dumped them all out! Well, hopefully not. How sweet it is. Where the rubber meets US soil. We've come this far lads, only a wee bit more to go! Let's hope the VDC is in top form!
Schedule shows Maersk Wave has set sail. Thank you old girl for your fine work indeed! If I were to name our incoming coop, it would have to be Maersky!

That was the same with the Maersky Wind. All of the cars showed the same unload time. Apparently the teamsters at Port Hueneme are much more efficiant that those British slackers.
