Round clear stickers

Has anyone removed those round clear stickers that are located where the hood and the fenders come together. Mine appear to be yellowing and I am afraid they will hurt the paint or just start to look really bad. Does anyone know what they are or what they do?

Thanks in advance!

Those cover the air holes. If you pull them off, the car deflates.

They are fitted at the factory to protect the paint when adjusting the hood.

They "should" be removed by the dealer when prepping the car. Mine weren't so I took them off myself.

If they are what I think you are talking about, they are the backs of rubber bumpers that are placed there during shipment to prevent damage. The rubber is pulled off during prep. Sometimes, the plastic backing stays stuck.

Don't worry. There is an exclusive Palo Uber MINI blow-up pump and it's only $3600!

You will absolutely RUIN the long term collector's value of the car if you remove these.

In a couple decades, people at Barret-Jackson will be talking about how rare it is to see a MINI with these still intact from the factory.

I'm fortunate--I don't seem to have any. Good thing, 'cause it's like mattress tags. Remove one and you look for the mattress police...

I would go back to the dealer and demand them! How do you know zippeee didn't go through the horrors of production and/or shipment unprotected??

Nah--it's hot here, and the dealer just wanted Zippeee! to be more comfortable nude.

I got one!! It's on the passenger side! Maybe I should peel it off and sell it on eBay?

Thanks for raising this issue, i've got one on each side and wondered if I should take them off or not.. Seems to protect the paintwork from if the bonnet was to hit it somehow when you are closing it, doesn't look like that would happen though..
