Yep, same dealership. Funny. I think I was supposed to come the same day, but I will be out of town, so I had to reschedule for the 30th.... Let me know if you see mine when you're over there!

 

I just got "The Call". Unfortunately (depending on how you look at it) she arrived earlier than expected, and I am out of town for work. Meaning, another week and a half. But I was expecting to wait that long anyway, so I'm not sure if that makes it better or worse.

 

Hey Congrats!!!! That is sooo exciting! It is unfortunate that you are away for work but at least you know the car is not spending too much time at the VDC. When did it reach US soil?

Well, good luck and maybe you could try to work something out at work to pick up the car sooner? Your MINI will get lonely while he/she waits...but again, the wait will probably be worth it in both ends

 

Is anyone located in the Midwest? I'm in Indianapolis (YES, home of the super bowl champion COLTS!!!, but it is not why my car is blue and white)...my Mini was unloaded on Sunday from the Freedom, but the Owners Lounge still shows 'en route'. I know the OL is on a few day lag so I'm hoping its at the VDC or processed already!!

Just hoping I get "the call" soon too...although I am out of town this weekend so I doubt it'll be in Indianapolis by Thursday. Looks like next Tuesday for me at the earliest.

I'm in S.Florida and my MINI also got here on Sunday - it was aboard the Freedom. I am also getting the same info from OL. I talked to my MA last week and he said there is no way to estimate how long it would be since there could always be delays at the VDC. I think this is the worst part of the waiting process b/c we have no idea what's going on.

Anyway, let's hope our cars get processed soon and are on their way quickly...
