R56 R56 Week 14 production Group (April 2)
For me, the automated system said I had completed production on Monday night, and "awaited transport." Today (Thursday) it says it is transporting. And, also today, WW shows me in their tracking system as booked (but not yet loaded). So, 3.5 days... or so.
Well...I know some of our Minis are showing "loaded on vessel" as of right now and onboard Freedom leaving today. I just wanted to keep this thread going since some of us have been posting in the new thread re-who's on Freedom and not everyone from Week 14 Production might be on that ship.
So...how's everyone else's progress going?
Also, for those of you on Freedom, where is the car going? Mine is going to Braman West Palm, although I'm in Miami. I'm thinking it'll be here about 3 weeks from today; is that pretty much realistic or do you guys think it'll be more like 4 weeks from now?
Anyway, hope to hear from everyone else that they've made it on to a ship

My R56 MCS SS/B, LSD, Sport Susp, Premium, Sport & Cold Weather Packages, Hi-Fi, Chrome Line Interior, Black/Grey Leatherette, Rear Fog, 17" Crown Spoke, Black Bonnet Stripes was completed on 4/5. Will need to identify shipping vessel after release to carrier - then approx. 12 days at sea - Port of entry will be Charleston, SC. then by rail to Greer, NC. VDC, and truck transport to Atlanta, Ga. dealership - delivery probably sometime in May.

how miserable! Did you try tracking your VIN on the WW site? At least you can see if it is booked to be shipped...
Ask-Mini automated was about 3 days behind for me, but the humans were on top of things, give or take 24 hours...
I think most of us who finished around the same time as you are already shipping, so maybe you've made it at least to the port, two ships left over the weekend for the East Coast. If you're going west, it might be a longer wait, but you can check the schedules for that on the WW site:

Good Luck.

Hope you get the info on yours soon. Please, keep us posted.
Still no love from the tracking websites, but the good news is on my every-other-day call to ASK-MINI this morning, I got the message that I am now in transit. Just a matter of figuring out what ship I'm on now!
Hey all, my FIRST POST and my first Mini!!!! Definitely excited. I think I'm in the Week 14. My VIN shows up on WW as loaded on the FREEDOM.
I look forward to everyone receiving their babies soon! - Michael

MiniFishers -
Welcome to NAM and the week 14 thread!!! I haven't been here for long but this board seems to be great.
The OL has finally changed my status from "awaiting transport" to "en route." This happened exactly one week after the WW site showed my car to be on board Freedom.
Can't wait to see our cars!

MiniFishers, where are you seeing her on AIS? I can't find her anywhere. Two days ago she was showing up on the long island sound, and then WW shows has her arrival in NJ/NY as 4/14 and 4/15, with another stop in NJ/NY 4/16 -- I can't find the boat on AIS or sailwx, so i'm thinking this storm up here in NJ's got her all held up... :'(
Its hard to describe where the Freedom is exactly on AISlive.com, but if you go to HOME/Atlantic NE and float your mouse over the different 'red boxes' a description will pop up and you want to view the 'Boston Overview' and the Freedom is a light green triangle. It hasn't moved today, so I don't know what is going on.
I was hoping the ship would be gone before the storms hit, it looks like its just parked in the bay, not going anywhere.

Ok, ok, I do have a real job and I don't sit and watch AISLive all day, I promise, but I just came back to my desk from lunch and AIS was still up, the page had refreshed and Freedom has moved from the bay into the harbour.
Ahh yes, thank you MiniFishers. I see her now.
I'm actually a week 13er but happily, i report that my MINI (lowly MC convertible, not an R56, but their forum just isnt as into it!) is finally showing as discharged to the VDC in NY from the WW website! Hooray!

Congratulations!
MichelleN, I actually think most of us in 14 are 13ers who got a few days behind... I am so happy that your MINI has now claimed its American citizenship (or at least is in the long line of immigrants who have gotten off the boat), thankfully quarantine isn't too long on the non-living. (I think for pets it is something like 3 months now...)
The FREEDOM is just outside the Baltimore harbour, heading to South Carolina. If your Mini didn't get off in NY...it should be arriving at the VDC in SC on Saturday. Hopefully everyone is on a train/truck by early next week!!!!
Well...after speaking with my MA it seems he knows as much as I do. He told me it all depends on how long the car stays at the VDC but that it should be in the dealer some time next week if there are no delays.
Let's hope processing at Charleston does not take long...

My First Time
Hi everyone!!!
This is my very first post, AND my first Mini. I have waited a LOOOOONG time
for mine and it is actually becoming a reality! I am also on the Freedom, ultimate destination in North Carolina, so hopefully not too much longer.
This last week is going to be pure Torture, but happy bliss
