$1,700 seems very expensive to me....Ive been shopping for my '84 Ford Escort Special Edition and a full cat-back with tails, ummm, or not... is only $50 (used at the local junk yard) + install for ~ $my time....plugged cat. I hate the price of modding the Mini!

 

Over the 2010 Christmas Holidays I tried installing a Milltek CatBack system on my new 2011 MCS. All very simple and straight forward install, EXCEPT the pipe going forward, out of the muffler, is angled in the wrong direction. This causes the muffler tips to not center but to hit the plastic bodywork. It also causes the pipe between Muffler and Resonator to be thrown to one side as well. It all stems from what appears to be a bad angle on the pipe that should just come out of the muffler and head forward and down at a slight angle, not to one side. Check out the photos I took of the problem.

Neither Way Motor Works, the dealer, nor Stratmosphere, the Distributor will accept return of this item. Poor customer support from both parties. I would strongly recommend steering clear of this product and these people.
