Are those lights factory or aftermarket? I LOVE them... and would love to get some on the MINI. I assume I can just wire them to the open toggle space I have and put them on a toggle like the normal fog lights are.
Just randomly started from page one...saw your post 2007 MCS Lightning BLue lowered on NM Eng Springs
Did you use plastidip to black out the chrome? I have a ton of experience with plastidip (used it on my 3 series all the time) and LOVE the stuff... this spring was going to attack the MINI and get rid of all the chrome on the car (HATE chrome with a passion).
Just wondering if it was indeed plastidip if you pulled the pieces or just masked off?

Thanks! I love them too.
I actually bought them through Mini. I'm sure it'd be more cost effective to go with an aftermarket brand though.
I'm a new owner and have only had my '08 MCS for 3 weeks now, but have done a few things already:
- Tinted Windows
- Lowered with NM springs
- Red Beltline vinyl
- Matte Black-out vinyl headlight rings, side scuttles, tail light rings, and A-Panel
- Waiting on delivery of more vinyl to do grill and door handles and redo gas cap in black
- Also waiting to wear out tires so i can replace wheels with black 17s and new tires
- Came with Union Jack mirror covers
My wife's Countryman in its first snow in Dallas. My MCS was in the garage were it belongs. Haha... When it clears up I will take some pictures of both cars together to post.
Figured I would post a picture of my MCS that is nice and clean just to drive my wife crazy. Really like the red roof/side mirrors but I did not go with the JCW. I am thinking of maybe getting those parts wrapped or plasti dip them red. I don't want it to look like it is a JCW when it is not but I did like the red roof/side mirrors. Give me your feedback weather I should or should not do it. Also any feedback on wrap vs plasti dip would help also.
Ok, so I know it's not an R56, please don't chastise me, but this seemed like the only appropriate place to post a picture......I just thought this was funny....

When I first bought my 2008 R56, I parked the car to take my daughter someplace. When I returned to the car an crew cab F250 Superduty was parked next to me and all I could do was laugh. You don't realize how small the cars are until you are parked in between two SUVs.
