Thanks! Have you guys met up yet since I left? Should plan something in October when I come up. I won't be in the MINI though. I'll be at Laguna Seca with a F30 335i. My friend is sponsored by KW and I'm taking his car up to be part of their booth (maybe, but very likely)

Stripes/No Stripes
Which way do you guys think looks best? I'm on the fence about the stripes...

I think the hood looks better without the stripes. It makes the hood scoop look more pronounced and muscular. The stripes detract from those lines in the hood imo.

De-Chromed with stripes. I would consider pin stripes down both edges of the black stripes in a contrasting color like white, blue or orange.

I had 15% on my R56 and just had it put on my R60 about 3 weeks ago. However Ziebart messed up and they are going to redo it, but I actually don't care for it on this car for some reason. So I'm thinking of telling them to go down to the next lighter tint. I don't know if it's because it's red or it has more windows than my R56, it just doesn't look like I want it to. It seems too dark or something. Maybe subconsciously I'm afraid of getting cited for it, since it's illegal here. Didn't bother me on the R56 though...
It's going back to Mini Wednesday to finish the roof stripes which their graphics company messed up initially. Sigh
