Funny--I'm German, but they didn't offer a German flag Do you plan to get the Union Jack roof?

Hope you get your car soon--the last few days are the worst, I think. That and the FIRST few days when the OL just shows your order has been accepted but production hasn't started!

My MA has to be a saint--he never exploded on me, even though I called him all the time...

Okay, I have some pics of the wheels--if this doesn't show what you need, let me know since I have a few others--not sure which would be the most helpful.

Thanks, Tom! There's a drive tomorrow that will put quite a few on IF the weather's permitting. It's so gloomy today though, and rain's expected tomorrow.

Hi Deb,

Thanks a lot for the rapid response, and for the nice pictures! Since you offer so kindly to post additional pics, here is what would help -- pics of the entire car from the side, so that I can see how the wheels fit in with the rest. You can see what I am worried about here:

I think the Bridgespokes work much better, especially on the Chili Red -- but seeing your pics will help settle it!

Cheers and thank!

Hey deb, no I am not getting the union jack roof, I wanted a sunroof and could not get both. So I decided to get the union jack rear view mirror cap instead, we will see how it turns out. I would love to see pics of the interior of your car.

Okay, give me a day or two for the weather to turn nicer. It's silver and gray, so a little sunshine would certainly help!

How's the sunroof? Any wind noise when closed?

Thanks.

Decided the weather wasn't going to get any better, so here are the other pics requested. Keep in mind the interior is sedate, contrasting with the exterior, but I wanted something more elegant. This is the Fluid Silver option.

I ordered fluid silver too. It looks great!

Are those the leatherette seats? I am hoping so ...that's what I ordered and your seats look awesome!

Thanks for answering my question about the sunroof ...good to hear!

Thanks a lot -- the wheels look great on the car! In fact, you may have just sold me on the CR

On a related question, any flag with red in it (USA, France, etc.) should "work" on a CR's mirrors. Do you (or anybody else reading this) have a suggestion as to where to find mirror caps with different country flags?

I think there is a spray for the alloys which reduces brake dust adhesion. Look in the tire/whls section here or the r50/53 sections.

Thanks, guys! I appreciate the thumbs up. Buying a car sight unseen when even the MA doesn't know how it will look is a little nerve-racking, but I'm happy with my choices.

Reelsmith--yes, those are the leatherette seats--they are perfed on part of them, and "solid" for the rest.

To everyone still waiting--hang on. It won't be that long, and it's worth it. We went for a "spirited" drive today--she goes like stink through the curves!

Jim--I'll have to check into that spray!

So I'm starting to wonder, am I the only one in America with the standard dash (with the checkerboard pattern)? I did get the red colorline, but just didn't feel like paying extra for piano black or fluid silver. And I saw the brushed stainless at the car show and hated the feel of it.

Any opinions?

BTW, very nice, Deb. Picking my CR/W up from Art in the morning. Sadly, it will be raining hard.

CR/W Stripes, Sunroof, Punch Black Leather, Comfort Access, HiFi, tinted windows and sunroof, clear bra, and other stuff...

dbhouston: I also got the standard dash (the checkerboard) and the red colorline. I liked the checkerboard a ton in the configurator, and even more when I saw it in person on the 17th.
