Zonkers, was that the name of a snack/junk food in the 70s?
Still is...

Zonker looks great. Yellow/Yellow is what I was considering since I seem to see a lot of Yellow Minis with contrasting roofs. Please don't pass this picture around or you'll spoil it for me.

willymcd: The mellow yellow is pretty much exactly like French's yellow mustard. Liquid yellow was lemony, the mellow yellow is a tad warmer/deeper. But just a tad.

The new yellow looks more "liquid" and less faded like a banana to me.

Looks fabulous, I am also ordering the Mellow Yellow but with white roof and dark interior. Florida sun is too much for the black roof line IMO.

Looks awesome vader! Great wheel choice, they go very well with the car! Don't forget to give us all some "living with the R56" feedback in a few days after you've enjoyed it for a bit.

Love the color. What model/size wheel and tires are you running?

And could you tell me more about the electronical issues?

Oh yeah, now that is sooo sweet!

Congrats on your new R56!

Mellow Yellow looks very nice and doesn't need a contrasting roof to make it stand out. Love the wheels too!

That's a great name you gave him (Zonkers).

I do remember Screaming Yellow Zonkers... (ooops giving away my age now)! Do they still make them?

Enjoy and Motor On!

You bet, two MINIs is better than one 335I any day! Vader was retired to weekends only last May and I have been driving a Honda FIT since then.
Every time I got into the Honda, it screamed 'I'm not a MINI', hence Zonker.

Wheels are ASA AR2 17x7 et 42. Tires are Kumho 215/45/17 both from Tire Rack.
As to the electronics comment......
As a well educated techie type of person who deals with a lot of electronic things, I found the new electronics (radio, blue tooth, OBC etc) to be hard to understand, not intuitive, unnecessarily complicated etc. I will need to read the manual more than once to master the new controls.

so you opted out of the runflats from the get go.

Is there any recommendations posted on NAM for a good patch kit to carry with conventional tires, battery powered pump?
