I think JohnBLZ just meant he could touch the brake now without touching the gas, not that he couldn't do both if he wanted. Not sure if ChrisW was reacting to something else too? The pedals are setup so well you'd have to have pretty large or small feet to not be able to dance how you want on them.

Hey now!! Let's not be taking away others' reasons to complain here! You might leave little else available for discussion... let's leave knee-jerk reactionary comments with little factual basis to back them up alone!

Next up, the highly controvertial non-functional hood scoop... Although I'm sure there would likely be even MORE complaints if it were removed from the S line. I guess a lot of the other styling flourishes on most other cars are all purely functional as well. (Because, y'know, all the fins make such a HUGE improvement in aerodynamics. It's not mostly for looks at ALL...) How dare Mini differentiate its line a little bit by not removing it!

Scion xBs for EVERYONE... no hood scoop foolishness on those pieces of modern craftsmanship! And DEFINITELY no issues with the pedals...

+1! The non-functional hood scoop argument frustrates me the most. Are non-functional aesthetic flourishes absent from all other vehicles on the market? Please.

And if everyone drove off a bridge, would you do it too?
