R56 Wheel offset for R56
Though I don't have the MINI factory specs... and I checked www.realoem.com without success...
...I searched through the slew of 17x7 wheels availible for the MINI at www.tirerack.com (they don't offer 16" rims as far as I could see
)... and it appears a few list +40mm and one +38mm, but the majority of 17x7 are +42mm.
I noticed as you get into a deeper "dish", or go to a bigger 18" rim, the number goes up a couple millemeters. So average 18" rim seemed to be +45mm.
So for the 16" wheels, assume +38mm?
Hope that gives you some idea...

That's some quality info!
Well, it's quality information if you are interested in MC tires and H Stock. But, what about MCS and G Stock? That's what I want to know about. The chart--which I had already found--listed some heavy wheels. I only wish I could use my SSR Comps: 11.5 Lbs. Alas.
But I'm sure some good options will surface as more MCS cars arrive here.
Waiting may be fine for vultures, but I don't care for it!
