Does anyone know when the official R56 order date will be announced?

I was wondering as here in Korea I have not received any word from BMW/MINI when I can start taking orders. We figure here in Korea that as soon as the "official" date is set in the USA we can count on the same date here to start taking orders.

If any of you MAs out there (or people in the know) know something please send me a PM. I need to start planning marketing materials and etc thru MINI Korea and MINI/BMW.

I am eager to start the US Military Sales program here in Korea.

Orders in the US started back on Nov 30th 2006 in some dealerships..

They will begin selling 2/17/2007.

 

We were told that we could start around mid-late Feb but MINI is not letting us know much especially for the Military Sales...which are tax free with about $3K discount off of MSRP for Military and DoD civilans here.

Oh well...I will just sit here and wait for the date when I can start selling. I know the sales here will be good,,,,,,,,,,BUT! I don't like the 2007s look....I prefer the 02-06 look. Myself....I have a highly modded 2004 MCS.
