It seemed from my discussion with some MAs yesterday that this date was being pushed back. I do plan to keep an eye out on the 14th and 15th though just in case R56 makes an appearance (I live around the corner from Moritz). If it does I'll send up a flare .........or maybe just post here.

 

I think the announcement for the event would be around the 14th-15th as opposed to the actual event

 

I have not heard about anything here in vegas yet...but I will post ASAP. Thanks guys!

23rd at Niello in Sacramento. We're turning it into a club event.

 

As posted earlier Towne Mini in Buffalo starts test drives 2-12-07 the dealer e-mailed me to attend.

 

Does not appear that anything is happening at MINI of Fairfield, CT, MINI of Tarrytown, I haven't checked with MINI of Mahwah or Morristown, NJ.

I really do find this surprising, MINI as a company doesn't miss much in the way of marking events... So what's going on?

 

South Bay MINI in Torrance, CA (LA County) is having an RSVP release party on February 16th. Lots of local club folks will be attending.

I understand that Long Beach MINI, in the Signal Hill area is also having a release party the same evening.

New Country MINI is having their event, for owners, and future owners Friday night, February 16th from 7-10 P.M.. There will be food, non-alcoholic refreshments, and a D.J. The unveiling happens at 7:30. There will also be a screening on the plasma TV for Hammer and Coop, episode 1 and 2. Let's Motor!

Yikes, my dealer/MA said they are having a roll-out party March 3rd or 4th. I hope it's a doozy! It seems late to me. 2 weeks late.

 

My dealer isn't really doing a darn thing. They have a small blurb on their website about the launch days this weekend with their normal operating hours being the "launch event" hours. Sounds like it will be a typical day, with perhaps a few more people milling around. How exciting.

Yeah, I can't believe MINI of The Woodlands (near Houston) isn't doing anything. I mean, c'mon, how much is a tray of snacks and some Cokes? $50? Seems like a small price to pay for a whole lot of publicity!
