Per Edmunds.com the following MINI options currently are listed as having “Late Availability”

• 609 Navigation System
• ZHS Hyper-Sport Package
• ZAU Audio Package
• 7AR Aerodynamic Kit
• 655 Sirius Satellite Radio
• 653 High Definition Radio
• Laser Blue Metallic

 

I highly doubt laser blue is a late availability. It's the color of the new MCS.

 

Yes, I was surprised by the their report of delayed laser blue as well.

 

Those have been listed as March availability for months. The only surprise in there is Laser Blue. Non-late availablity would be options available, basically, now, for launch delivery.

The late ones will be delivery in April.

For me, this has been a blessing. I got bumped up a ton of spots on the waiting list at my dealership 'cause I wasn't ordering anything off this list.

 

Laser Blue is NOT delayed. Mine is being built as we speak.

 

I think they may have gotten it confused with Oxygen blue, which is a late release and will be only available on the Cooper.

Auto transmission for the Cooper S is delayed until March production as well.
