The metallic British green is a great color, but I would like to see MINI offer the REAL British green, a non-metallic green, much like the green used on the early MINIs or the Spitfires of the '60s. That color with a white roof, white stripes and white mirrors would be a great looking MINI. Maybe some day.

 

I agree. I have been wishing for that myself. That is what I would get if it were available, and it would save me some money as well.

 

When we were deciding on color, BRG/W was by far my first choice because it's a classic. When I saw the new MINI BRG, it was not the true BRG that you describe on the older Minis, and all British Leyland cars from way back when. Too dark, metallic etc.
Went with CR/W...still classic
