Correct. It would be quite a feat for him to have one of THOSE in-stock.

This was the R53 convertible with the 07 color choice of LB. And as I said, in MY opinion, it's a great color. I locked my order down right then and there. I liked the Hyper Blue a lot, but this blue has a richness I really liked.

I can promise that ANY photo you've seen online does not quite capture the real color.
There are some newly posted photos of LB on Mini2:

Cool! Just saw this test drive vid on YouTube, too. Looks pretty nice there. Plus it shows another thing I'll be shopping for soon: a new pair of child booster seats (though I may not be able to cough up the dough for the BMW badged ones in the video ):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzHy_XXM1xE

That was at the first press launch at Zandersvoot (sorry, I'm sure I spelled that wrong ). It was the slolom/autocross they set up to let the journalists play a bit before going on the track.

About a minute in you can definately see the lift off overstear coaxed out of the car with a little Scandanavian Flick thrown into boot. Pretty cool. Looks like fun.
