I am curious about this too. If the MCS battery is now up front, then the space where the compact spare is mounted in the MC must still be available? If you have run-flats, well then there is no need, but if you are going to get non run-flat tires for your MCS some day it would be nice to be able to mount the spare.

The picts of the underside clear this up. The MCS center exhaust looks to cross the space where a spare would fit in the MC

That's not to say you couldn't take out the foam bits and put in a temp space saver spare in a bag. :-)

The USA MC, at least the R53, has a compact spare mounted under the car. The hardware that holds it in place is accessed from the boot. I'm assuming the R56 MC will be the same.
