Question on Cabin Lighting
I know it is standard for the 2007's but I was reading a review from Parkers
http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/review...spx?model=1544
And I noticed it said the lighting also changes the instrument panel? Does this include the speedo etc? So I can have a blue speedo? :O

It would seem to me that low voltage interior lighting wiring, panel and all, would be on the same circuit, and it wouldn't be that difficult to include all the same variable LEDS, so my $$ says that yes the instrumentation can be changed as well as the "ambient." This is the first review to claim this, and I see no reason why they would mislead. Plus that along with the tele/tilt steering wheel being standard equipment, well, I'm sold. That's one danged cool featureto be able to vary my instrument panel lighting depending on my mood as I motor to work in the dark in the AM!!
I have an inquiry in to M2 guru Paul Mullett to confirm this, will keep U guys posted.

The answer is No. Gauges stay the same. Double bummer.
